The State of Utah has created a new website that reveals where Utahns may get tested for COVID-19 infection. The Coronavirus Crisis has shut down much of the world — including Sevier County.

The CDC and Utah are now recommending that, if you have symptoms, you should get tested. To find a location to get tested, you may visit: coronavirus.utah.gov/testing-locations/

For the Richfield area, this is the information the website provides:

Sevier Valley Clinic
1000 N Main St, Suite A
Richfield, UT 84701

Phone: 844-442-5224
Intermountain Healthcare
intermountainhealthcare.org/covid19-coronavirus/get-testing

Testing Hours: Mon-Fri: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Before visiting an IHC testing location, please call the IHC COVID-19 Hotline at 844-442-5224.

Under the new CARES Act legislation, recently passed by Congress, testing for the coronavirus is free.

However, “your mileage may vary,” so feel free to ask about costs, up-front. Also, please note that additional medical care may, also, not be free. So, again, feel free to ask up-front, every step along the way.
